Ludacris has teamed up with Trey Songz to film the video for “Sex Room” which is Luda’s third release from his “Battle of The Sexes” album. Even though this is a collabo between both of my favourite males in the game, I can’t say it’s the best song i’ve heard but it’s ok. The video was shot at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and was directed by Chris Robinson. Check out the behind the scenes footage and watch this space for the full video.

This will be brief. This Dream and Ludacris remix of “Love King” is way better than the original Jeezy remix. I don’t know why he didn’t think of this sooner. Don’t get me wrong Jeezy can hold his own but Luda has just smashed any existing mixes for this tune. Love it!

When I found out that Lil Scrappy was making a come back, I cracked a smile. For those who are unfamiliar with Scrappy Papi, he’s a Southern rapper (think crunk) who had a hit “No Problems” with Lil Jon back in the day and is probably can be found passing his days sipping on some sizzurp.
I’m feeling “Swoop Swoop”. It’s bouncy but not too hyper (as you’d expect) and is perfect for any hip hop playlist. “Swoop Swoop” is from Lil Scrappy’s new album, “Daja Vu”. Scrappy is also now part of Ludacris’ camp, DTP where his first solo project is going to be “The Grustle”.

The eagerly awaited comeback album from Usher, “Raymond v. Raymond” has charted in the top position on the US Billboard 200 album charts in its first week. The album which features A-list artists such as Will.I.Am, Ludacris and Nicki Minaj has already sold 329,000 copies despite much criticism that Usher no longer deserves his RnB king crown.
Raymond v. Raymond is the third number one album for Usher with “Here I Stand“ (2008) and Confessions (2004) previously gaining the top spots on their release.

Luda’s Battle of the Sexes just dropped and Rollercoaster ft. Shawnna and Dru Hill is the bonus track on the album. The Dru Hill and Ludacris collaboration really works, their silky smooth vocals perfectly compliment Luda’s mellow tone on this seductive joint, and well Shawnna is Shawnna.

Ludacris’ long-awaited Battle of The Sexes album has been leaked, despite the fact it is due for release on Tuesday 9th March (my birthday!). It’s got some good features including hot girl of the moment Nicki Minaj as well as Lil Kim, Trey Songz, Gucci Mane and a few others. I will post a review shortly, but until then…enjoy!

First and foremost, I must clarify that in no way am I fan of Taio Cruz. He lost any of my respect (not that he had any) when he allegedly decided to ‘rebel’ against concerns over the lack of black women in his videos by stating that he would continue to only use white or light-skinned models.
So why am I blogging about him? Well, he’s only gone and got Ludacris on board (a black man, who appeals to a black demographic!) for the US release of Break Your Heart. So, Taio are you admitting that you are now going to have to ‘blacken it up’ to sell records Stateside? Foolishness!
